The bag sides : The bag is made with the same cotton as found in the g-zip outfits, knit in a Montreal mill to form a double knit fabric characterized by a smooth, soft surface on both sides. The bag reconfigures to form the scarf by removing the bag bottom (beret crown).
The lining : In addition, we have lined the bag walls with a high quality fabric called "bemberg", a form of rayon that is particularly soft to the touch and which is a byproduct of the cotton plant. This lining gives the bag added strength and substance while also making the neck scarf that much more comfortable to wear.
The bag bottom : The bag also includes a bottom circle which is also the crown of the beret. This crown is made from four interfaced cotton pieces that are individually lined with the bemberg. The crown is attached to the bag via a zipper. If you have several crowns, you may exchange them for the bag bottom, giving the bag several different styles!
The shoulder strap : The shoulder strap is required for the bag - we have chose a ribbon which is softer and easier to carry than cord.
